Enjoy some incredible golfing on the three first class local courses including the spectacular Jack Nicklaus designed Nicklaus North course.
Or perhaps fishing is your thing? The Whistler valley is home to 5 lakes that offer great freshwater fishing for trout and char species. Also close by, is some excellent river fishing. Better yet, you can hire a local guide to take you out or fly you in to some secluded alpine fishing.
Whistler is also fast becoming a premiere destination for mountain biking. In the spring and summer months you will see bike racks full where ski racks would be in the winter. You can ride up the mountain with your bike and enjoy the great mountain trails on the way down. Also, there are miles and miles of wilderness trails in the area to ride or hike. Bike rentals are readily available at Whistler too.
Perhaps more leisurely activities are your idea of a holiday? In the summer you can enjoy the many beaches and parks in the area to soak up the hot Whistler sunshine; or maybe rent a canoe and paddle down the meandering River Of Golden Dreams. Or maybe you would just rather shop or eat? Whistler has over 300 shops and restaurants for you to choose from, something for everyone.
